The Minnesota Timberwolves entered Game 4 of their first-round playoff series against the Denver Nuggets with a 2-1 lead. But within one half of basketball, their season changed forever.
Donte DiVincenzo went down just 1 minute and 19 seconds into Game 4. He suffered a non-contact injury while lunging for a rebound after a missed three-pointer. He grabbed at the back of his right leg. The diagnosis is a torn right Achilles tendon. He was later seen in a wheelchair with a splint cast on his right leg. He is out for the remainder of the playoffs.
